Kara Smith works the Birdeye property with Martin — studioDRIFT (the nonprofit under Ecological Design Group) and Birdeye Farms, LLC, where she is the registered agent and incorporator.
studioDRIFT’s pitch is rural infrastructure: gravel, paddle sports, farm hospitality, live music. Birdeye Farms is the agri-tourism half — low-till, bio-intensive, fifth-generation Smith ground. Lee and Michael cater those weekends and other events with Martin, Kara, and Jackie. Together they put visitors on the same dirt Jim and his sons grew up on.
