Creighton Collier is Becky Quessenberry Farmer’s son, Jim Quessenberry’s nephew, and a team cook on the Arkansas Trav’lers line. He is John and Tori Collier’s brother and Alexandra Collier’s father.
He was part of the cousin crew that actually cooked — not just visited the booth. Archive notes put him on the riverbank at Memphis in May (including the 1993 team) and in Jim’s stories from the mid-1980s circuit. In the tapes Jim called him “Kraton.”
The stolen-shirt story is his: Jim raged that team tees were walking off, then learned Creighton’s mother-in-law Barbara Patterson had taken a couple for herself. Jim labeled her one of the goddamn thieves and kept cooking.
