Amy Mills

BBQ Author & Legacy Carrier — 17th Street Barbecue

Amy Mills is the daughter of legendary pitmaster Mike Mills and a primary architect of modern barbecue culture. She co-authored Peace, Love, and Barbecue with her father, helping document the stories and techniques of the greatest pitmasters of the 20th century.

Amy carried her father's legacy forward at 17th Street Barbecue in Murphysboro, Illinois, and has been instrumental in preserving the oral history and competitive tradition that defined Jim Quessenberry's era.
